Kaito is post Ch5 in V3! By which I mean he is super dead. He is basically still 100% canon though. . .almost. He's spent a year and half in another game called Ryslig, where he also died a lot but most notably: is a werewolf. He is still werewolf, but there's no way to tell unless he fully transforms (caused by the moon or high emotions. basically when i feel like it lol). He probably won't tell anyone this immediately, and still pings as mostly 100% normal otherwise. He also suffered some memory loss in Ryslig and 100% believes in his whole astronaut bit from canon.
He is also Post-Reverie! However, memories of that time are extremely blurry, and he only remembers his closure with Tsumugi, he wouldn't recognize anyone else there.
Visually, for Heaven, Kaito has one sparkly galaxy wing (usually hidden under his jacket), a wolf tail, ears, and little fangs. He can turn into a full furry werewolf if his emotions are running high or if he's hanging out in Hell for shits and giggles. He'll also have a basic halo always hovering over his stupid hair.
Tldr he'll be a werewolf when I feel like it but otherwise treat him as canon! Here's a basic human ref and Woof details are here.
